Coffee Halloween

Halloween has arrived so it’s time to try out these scarily delicious RossOro coffee recipes! These are our top four selections for Halloween 2022. Try them all, discover your favourite, and let us know your feedback!

PUMPKIN SPICED LATTE

Ingredients:

  • One tbsp pumpkin puree
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Mixed spice
  • Double Espresso shot
  • 500ml milk of your choice

 

Method:

  • Place one tbsp pumpkin puree in each glass. Add a pinch of the spices to each and mix.
  • Stir in the coffee.
  • Gently heat the milk in a saucepan until it is hot and frothy (do not boil). Pour the milk and milk froth carefully into the glass.

Complete by sprinkling some more cinnamon!

HALLOWEEN COCKTAIL

Ingredients:

  • 100ml strongly brewed coffee, cooled
  • Two tbsp Kahlúa
  • Two tbsp vodka
  • Four tbsp double cream
  • White marshmallows
  • Black food colouring

Method:

  • First, decorate the marshmallows. Either use your edible ink pen or dot a cocktail stick in a tiny amount of food colouring to draw Halloween-themed shapes on the marshmallows. Slide onto cocktail sticks and set aside.
  • For the cocktail, mix the cooled coffee, Kahlúa and vodka together and pour out equally between the two glasses.
  • Whip the cream ever so slightly. Carefully pour it over the back of a spoon so it settles on top of the coffee mixture.

Complete the drink with the spooky marshmallows.

WITCHES COLD BREW

Ingredients:

  • Eight ounces strongly brewed coffee, cooled
  • One ounce chocolate liquor
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • Granulated sugar to taste

Method:

  • Pour the coffee into a coffee cup.
  • Stir in chocolate syrup or liquor
  • Mix your cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger together and either mix into the drink by stirring with a spoon
  • Add ice

Complete by sprinkling some spices on top for a stronger kick of flavor!

MAPLE COFFEE SHAKE

Ingredients:

  • Two cups of maple ice cream
  • One double espresso shots
  • One tbsp maple syrup
  • Two maple cream cookies, crumbled
  • Whipped cream and maple syrup, for topping

Method:

  • Blend your ice cream and coffee until smooth. 
  • Add two maple cream cookies and one tbsp of maple syrup, continue blending for a smoother texture, or mix with a spoon or frother for a more chunky texture. 

Complete by adding whipped cream and maple syrup on top!
