Did you know about these benefits of drinking coffee?
- Coffee has more caffeine than tea, and therefore, it improves concentration and acts faster in our bodies. Both coffee and tea are rich in antioxidants and hydration properties. In reality, whether coffee or tea is ‘better’ depends on the user’s preferences.
- According to a 2020 study, the Netherlands were said to consume the most coffee per capita with 8.3 kilogrammes. Finland followed them at 7.8kg and Sweden at 7.6kg.
- Caffeine in pods varies according to the blends and the length of extraction time. Decaffeinated coffee has no caffeine at all. In reality, the amount of caffeine in a cup will depend on how long the extraction of coffee will go on – the longer the hot water flows through the capsule, the more caffeine it will extract.
- The caffeine content in RossOro’s capsules varies between 55mg and 89mg, depending on the blends.
- As of 15th June 2019, the biggest cup of coffee ever made (recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records) contained 22,739.14 litres. It was created by Alcaldía Municipal de Chinchiná (Colombia) at Parque de Bolívar, Chinchiná, Caldas, Colombia and took over a month, with 50 people working on it.
- Brazil grows more coffee today than any other country in the world.
- Together with water and tea, coffee is one of the most popular drinks worldwide, with over 400 billion cups being consumed each year.
- It is said that Ludwig van Beethoven was a massive coffee lover and would drink a cup for breakfast every day. He was extremely picky with the way he made his coffee and was certain that the perfect coffee was made with exactly 60 coffee beans.
